Hello

This is my build (Altough i have not bought the seagate sshd, the gtx 970 and the monitor yet. I have been using my old Radeon HD 6950 gpu).

I just build a new PC. It is my first build. Everything works fine and i can run games at a decent framerate with decent settings at the moment. But when I do play, my pc starts to smell burnt. I tried to inspect where the smell comes from and it seems that the smell is strongest near the cpu, heatsink and mobo. I really have no idea what to do from here.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

PS. I have not overclocked anything.

Can anyone help me?

Check inside if there is something close cooling system like paper, plastic or any material dropped there by a mistake, may be that can be burn a little and smells like that, if it's new and your cooling is right, something hide can stay inside

I just pulled everything apart, and I couldent see anything bigger than very little dust. So now I have taken out my old gpu to confirm that it is the new hardware smelling. I did find it weird that the cpu holder has some plastic. ill try to find a picture of it. But it looks like its suppose be there.
