help ocing my memory

hello i have an ocz memory (from Everest):
DIMM1: OCZ XTC Platinum Rev.2 OCZ2P800R21G 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 400 MHz) (4-5-5-13 @ 333 MHz) (3-4-4-10 @ 266 MHz)
DIMM3: OCZ XTC Platinum Rev.2 OCZ2P800R21G 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 400 MHz) (4-5-5-13 @ 333 MHz) (3-4-4-10 @ 266 MHz)
i have an e6750 oced to 3208 (401 mhz),
i still have some room to overclock my cpu,
i wanted to know how far i can take the memory?
what fsb is ok for that memory and i will i know if its not working properly?
is it possible to burn the memory?

The memory you have is very poor at overclocking, I have a friend who had that memory and he couldn't get it to go above about 425MHz no matter what he did(increase memory and chipset voltages, etc..)

As far as damaging your memory, unless you start to change the voltage, you should be fine. As far as testing the memory, Memtest86 is the best way to test memory stability.

i have the voltage currently on 2.1 (it came like this when i bought it),
what will happen if i will go over the limit, will the memory be bricked?

Raise the FBS 10 at a time and run Memtest untill you get errors the go down 1 at a time until you dont.

You can relax your timings. try 5-5-5-18 and see how far you can go. If the memory is rated at 2.1V then you can go to about 2.2-2.3 with out killing them. If you put way to much voltage you can burn up the RAM but 10% over specs is a good rule of thumb.

I have 8 Gigs of OCZ Platinum DDR2-1000 and I have them rinning at 1066 right now. Specs are 2.1V and I have it set to 2.2.

Have you been to the OCZ Forum? They are alot of help with overclocking RAM.
