Hello guys, I am a bit lost in choosing what components to buy in order to build a desktop pc.
I have a budget around 1.3k euros. I already have a 4 k monitor and this budget would only be for components including the case.
This pc is for work, usually use FI studio, video editing, play games (4k if possible) and then sporadic live streams.

What build or components can you advice me to buy?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the reply.
Do you think that gpu will do the job in terms of 4k video editing and gaming? Or since I have some money sparing I could go for a better gpu?

Thanks a lot.

Instead of picking parts, I will just give you advice.

1. Make sure your GPU has 16GB VRAM. The moment PS4/Xbox One support gets dropped, 16GB will be NECESSARY to play next-gen games at 4K (or 12GB for 1440p).
2. Make sure your SSD has a speed of at least 3000MB/s.
3. Make sure your SSD has a consistent sustained read speed (its speed does not go down until its death)

If you want to be able to enjoy playing next-gen games, these are necessary. 8GB VRAM GPUs are on a timer.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I think I am going to stick to 2k gaming and video editing. Do you think the 6600xt is enough?

I am also thinking to spend more money and change the CPU you advised and go for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. What do you guys think? And what board should I change for ?

My absolute best advice.

1. Determine which CPU you want. Take a look around, and see what you think works best for you (CPU will either have a stock cooler you can use, or a list of approved coolers depending on the CPU chosen).

2. After determining the CPU, then go find the best motherboard for your money for that CPU itself.

3. Once you have determined CPU and motherboard, goto the motherboard manufacturer's website, under support options there should be a list of 'supported ram' for that motherboard. You need to choose from the ram on this list, or there is no guarantee it will work!

4. After you have done that, select a 1-2 tb SSD for use in your system. Do not buy an HDD, or you will be sorry.

5. Do some research, determine the best GPU for your system, and select that.

6. After you have done all that, go to this website and determine how much power supply you need. https://www.newegg.com/tools/power-supply-calculator/

The power supply is done last, because you don't want to buy too little power supply for your system, and buying too much is a waste of money IMHO.

As far as the case is concerned, just get something big and roomy. I got one for $110 at newegg that could fit a family of four inside. Having too much case is better than having too little and needing modify the case so it all fits.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

i use FL studio. advice: lotsa ram and a fast ssd or nvme. someone said dont get a hdd, not true. large capacity hdd's can be used for back-up which we know is important when working with DAW's. and you can setup FL to copy to both the working file and to a redundant drive. back-up back-up back-up!

And what about the CPU? In their homepage they say the CPU should be good

With just a bit more you can get a really nice system with no compromises. You may even be able to hunt for a better price on the CPU and GPU.
