Hello people , im making my first gaing rig and i have found most of my parts. Im in India and i need some suggestions. My config is somewhat like this


CPU - AMD FX-8320

1. Is the processor good for gaming? ( I wanna run most of the next gen games at medium-ultra settings)

yes the cpu is good for gaming.
no the gpu is a bit weak so will give medium high settings at medium rez 720p medium low settings at 1080p
no its cross fire enabled board. so will only do dual gpus with amd gpu's and the second card would run in x4 mode so i wouldn't recommend this
some boards allow single gpu nvidia on a crossfire board but really they want you to use there own brand amd parts.

as for the rest of the build it looks ok. you could save a little money on the ram by buying higher voltage 1.65-1.7v spend what you save on the gpu.

Would this rig run most of the next gen games like Assassins Creed 4 and Battlefield 4 and is the fx8320 not better than the i3?

AC4 and BF4 are not truly next gen games. But it can run BF4 at High(not Ultra) settings, 1080p, 30+fps
fx8320 is better than i3 but u will need a GTX 760 then and then look at prices

I suggested 2 sticks of 4 GB RAM i.e. 8GB to be used in dual channel mode

sorry dude i would have added more recommendations but you live in india and as far as i know you tend to have to wait a while for parts we get in the eu. ie the 290/290x still hasnt arrived in your region. better you get the info you need from guys local to you.
