I am building a bunch of work stations for my office.

I would liek to use this processor:

I am stuck on the kind of motherboard I need. I though this one would work,

but its a B75 North Bridge. Will this work with the above processor? Obviously I am not going for power computing. I do need this to remain micro ATX and it also needs to have one SATA III connector.

Thanks

Thanks. I want to have an SSD for OS and programs and one SATA II for data. Can I do this with this processor and this motherboard? I read on this thread that the b75 chipset is not capable of doing that???

The motherboard only has one SATA 6Gb/s port . Thats SATA3 , and you would use it for the SSD

The other SATA ports have potential top speeds of half that speed . But that will not matter since 3 Gb/s is much much faster than any mechanical hard drive or DVD can actually run
