I think I have posted this before, but I wouldn't like to bring back an old thread.
I have the dread M2npv-vm Mobo and am using a X2 4200+ with DDR2 533 RAM. I have currently OC'ed to about
2338MHZ (11x212)
The problem lies in that the CPU frequency will not go higher than 212, and I was shooting for 26**MHZ.
I have tried using nTune and have not had much sucess, will someone elaborate on how to use it?
OC'ing in the BIOS still stops at 212, even after about 3-5 BIOS updates, from 0202 to 0504.

Try these:

Drop your multipler to 10. (So 11x212 = 10x233)
Loosen timings.
Set a RAM divider (2/3)
Increase voltage by .5

I had a 4200+x2 that wouldn't go past 2.5ghz no matter how much I tried...I even pushed it to 1.6v just to see if it could and still nothing...it had a crap stepping anyway heh. You might have the same stepping :(

I switched it out for an Opty 165 I got from newegg for $155 and I got a golden stepping...I'm running right now 3ghz @ stock volts on air :D stable.

I've never used the MB you have, but I've got the same CPU at ~2.7. Try reducing the multiplier like the other poster said first and if your FSB will go higher with a lower multiplier then add the volts. I wouldn't go above 1.45 though.

My issue going higher than the 2.7 range is my RAM (kingston 665) is already overclocked to almost DDR2 800 and I can't stablize it faster. I could probably drop the divider, but haven't done it yet.

I'm using the Epox MF570, AM2 X2 4200 w/stock HSF
CPU volts at 1.45
Vdimm at 2.1

CPU temps (29 C/43 C)

My mobo has no voltage options, and after another BIOS update to 0603, I can get CPU to boot all they way to 223x11, but I get BSOD's after windows starts. I tried changing to DDR2 400, but still it won't go higher.
Timings 4-4-4-9-11-4 wouldn't helpe either.
