Question Help! PC crashing and don't know why

Lately when gaming, my PC has been completely crashing. Started with the BSOD when playing APEX, now when playing Sekiro, its completely crashing and going black. I'm operating windows 10 with i7-7700k quad core 4.2ghz, 32gb ram, NVDA geForce 1080ti with the corsair hydro series H115i liquid cpu cooler. I noticed right before the crash happens, the fan kicks on extra hard and then the screens go dark (although I am still able to hear game audio). Does this sound like a GPU issue? Thx all. I check the temperature with MSI Afterburner while gaming and it gets to around 80 C.
