Hi guys please please help
ive just recently upgraded my ram from 2x8 16 2300 to 2x16 3200 they are both ddr4
so i pulled out all the old ones, and replaced the new RAM sticks in the same slots therefore activating dual channels
however my computer did not recognise these new RAM sticks instead it was showing the memory i had was 16GB 2133Mhz
i later discovered that i had to go to BIOS and enable XMP. which apparently did solve the problem, but only for a bit
my computer ever since then sometimes fails to start up, and whenever it does start it might still remain the same BIOS files(which is keeping XMP activated) or it would just reset, and i have to go back and do it again, then face the possibilities of not starting up AND ALSO BLUE SCREEN.
do we have any clues?
