Help please. Acer Aspire R 14 won't charge

This computer is 4 weeks old. Never had a problem with it until it wouldn't turn on yesterday afternoon.. When its plugged into the charger, pressing the start button has the yellow and blue lights blinking twice and then they stop. The screen briefly shows an image of the battery and says, "battery critially low". Leaving it unplugged overnight changed nothing.

Tried the power reset for 60 seconds and the pinhole battery reset button on the back for 10 seconds - nothing seems to be working. Any suggestion or clarification of the methods I tried would ne greatly apprieciated.
Nothing happened to it, I didn't drop it, cat didn't chew the cord, etc. so this is just a mystery and I need it for work. Help please, thank you very much.

I should mention this has a non -removable battery and has a ssd drive

sounds like the board is dead to get your work off you may need to open it and take out the ssd and plug it into another pc and copy your data

Thanks for all the suggestions, looks like I'll go to Best Buy this afternoon raise hell. I like to get my money back. $700 for this piece of crap is ridiculous. How did this model get so many good reviews

i have no clue listen to this i bought a custom made laptop from pc specialist (clevo) was supposed to be amazing it arrived and i like it was heavy but meh still amaazing a month later it died so just like fix it they fixed it then 3 months later it died i had a look their was literally a punctured pipe with oil all over i was like wtf called them saying found out why my temps are 97 degrees !! they said fine send it to us they didnt fix it instead they blamed me i was like wth they were like the motherboard and cpu is damaged so costs like over 200 on repairs NO thank you asked them to send it back i made it into a pc and recently my bro ripped a cable so its dead ffs why did he try and open it lol £700 down the drain
