hi guys,
in desperate need of assistance in getting an EGPU to work on my HP 840 G3:
Laptop specs:
Now, all of this worked perfectly via the express card on my older laptop but this isn't as easy. Over to this HP - I've taken out the wifi card and installed the cable in correctly. Set the complete egpu up and powered on the 840 G3.
What I get is constant boot cycles, Acpi bios errors and not reading the card... I have tried everything and even paid and downloaded Nando DIY EGPU setup. I had installed this software correctly and all is well in terms of that setup yet when i run 'test run' i get ACPI BIOS errors.. i try halting the windows boot and plug in the HDMI end into the EGPU to try " hot plug" and windows loads up yet the "microsoft display adapter" does not appear in display(device manager).
This laptop is such a good laptop and would be perfect for my setup.. Really begging for your expertise guys
Thank youuuuu!!!
