[SOLVED] HELP PLEASE - Kingston A1000 NVMe not detected by BIOS/WINDOWS on a Gigabyte B250M-DSH3

Hello everyone,

I have installed a Kingston A1000 500GB NVMe M.2 on my Gigabyte B250-DSH3 and it is not recognised by the BIOS. Windows 10 does not recognise it either.
I have tried many different BIOS options such as enabling/disabling CSM, changing Other systems / Windows features an no luck so far.
The SSD does not exist. According to the motherboard specs it is compatible with this piece of hardware. Am I missing something? Could I have a faulty M.2 unit? Would the Intel pre-install drivers help?

If I check the QVL (Qualified Vendor List, found here), it's not listed on there. It might not be compatible.

Thanks for the reply taeioum. That might be the reason, although according to the manual it should work. Anyway I've given up.
