So i have another thread about this but I cannot find it. I am typing on my phone because i have no other computer. The problem i am having is my pc starts up just fine. But when i start using it or after a little but the screen flashes white and than just blanks soild orange like my desktop backround. The mouse is frozen and i pretty much have to restart the pc. I just bought new ram and installed it. But same problem. I am not sure how to upload a picture of what the screen looks like because it asks for a link but the image is save on my iphone camera. I realy need help been a week so far.

System specs and age?
I see two monitors? I assume same garble on both? Pic 1 looks like the other monitor, just asking to be sure.
Smells like GPU isssue. If your mobo has integrated graphics try to unplug you GPU and see what happens.

Got my gpu out and pc run perfectly. I am gonna lunch some games and test it out, and make sure its not any of my moniters.

If the error dissapeared after removing the GPU and using the onboard instead, I will almost guarantee you its your GPU. But understandable that you want to test before buying a new GPU

Hi guys i got a problem with my pc. Starts up past bios than either nothing happens or it takes me to the login page in windows than freezes. I tried cleaning the drive and starting fresh again, started working than froze and crashed. Now i can’t get it to the login page on windows 8.1 i just ordered a new hard drive and motherboard. Any thoughts? If it still has the same problem after i get the new parts, i am gonna keep replacing other parts till i find the answer.

Tried restarting it again, half the screen has blue dashes and says Recovery, it looks like windows did not load correctly. I am not really sure whats the problem is but a couple of years ago i had to switch to the 2nd bios of my msi z97 motherboard because the 1st became corrupted.

I'd call it a 45/45 chance of ram and hard drive with a 10% chance of it being your motherboard. Download and run memtest 86 (runs before you get into windows)

Restarted again and i was able to load windows, tried loggin in and now its just a white screen.

Doesn't change my guesses or suggestions any

Yeah sense i am getting a new gpu might as well put some money into it ))) i just tested the moniters and the pc flawless i love it, thank you so much for the help ur a life saver.
