Question Help please RX 580 - turn monitor off/ on Grey fuzzzy screen??

Hi hopefully someone might be able to help

I have RX580
pc loads and monitor is good

I switch the monitor of and then turn it back on whilst pc is running

When it comes back on. It’s a grey fuzzy screen

I remove the dvi cable from graphics card and put back in and the monitor comes bk on normally

Why is this happening? Is their a fix?

I have tried old and new drivers but it still happens

this grey screen only appears if I turn the monitor off and then turn it back on???

I am using my pciex16 3.0 slot but due to NVMe m.2 in the pciex8 slot the graphics card is only running at x8, is there a work around for this aswell? As when I remove the NVMe from the pciex8 the GPU functions at x16

Any help on these two issue is appreciated

Psu is brand new 1 week old was brought sealed.

1x Corsair 140mm, rear

PCI Adapters:
Glotrends NVMe M.2 adapter PCIe-x4,
OS - Windows 10

Any ideas why the monitor would do that ? It’s like as soon as it’s switched of it drops signal to GPU but when it’s plugged back in it loads back up

the monitor isold but never did this on the old pc?

Gonna try re update the graphics driver
