Help Please WoW maps disappear..

hi there

After the recent server mainteneace I found out that my "revealed" map
changed back to unrevealed map for example when u make a new character you
have unexplored map my map is just like that...ffs I spent 4 monthes doing
this and explored quite a bit of maps.

I use cosmos maybe this has to do with it.

Try temporarily disabling all addons (rename the Interface folder) as
well as all saved game data (rename SavedVariables.lua in the WTF
folder). If the map still shows up as unexplored then something is
seriously wrong. If this fixes it then one of your addons is causing
the problem.

Also, does exploring the newly unexplored areas give you EXP?
(Irrelevant question if you're 60, I know).

You'd be better off reporting this through official channels, ie the
Technical Support forums over at the EU Blizzard site.

Cosmos would have nothing to do with this, information on what you've
explored is entirely server side. Petition the GMs and see what they can
do.

Wait a sec. You have explored with your main character, and when you
make a new character, then the map is obscured - but only for the new
one, the old one can still see all that has been explored.

Did I get that right?
If yes, then there is no problem - that is how the game works by
design.
If no, the old characters map also gets unrevealed, then you have a
problem and should contact a GM.
