Ok i downloaded windows xp today (hacked version) so that i may test the OS to see if its worth buying or just go and buy 2000. Prob is the download came is some funky .exe format that dont do nothing in 2k right now. I wanna know how i bust this bitch open and see whats there to see. I do have isobuster but i dont seem to work either. Sigh any help is apreciated thx in advanced.

you want to download .ISO image, not exe (I assume it's a Zip executable) but anyway, XP does not worth any of your trouble at all, but its nice to see it for yourself. It's a nice looking piece of **** sort of to say. Win2k is the best you can get right now instead of XP for power use. But give it a try, see for yourself, let us know, heh.

Hey Spuddy, if you want the iso version I am assuming since you didn't say what this file looked like? is like so...
winxp.iso.exe
Reboot go to safemode with command prompt if you have 2000
do the following from where ever it is located...

ren winxp.iso.exe winxp.iso

Thats it.then reboot
Samething goes for 98,me,95,3.1, 6.22

On M.E just get an old boot disk and have it boot to A:
switch it to where ever the file is and then do the above.
then burn to cd.
