Question help plz

so i deleted my wifi driver and cant get it back i have tried to restart the pc after the delete in hopes that it would reinstall it automaticly but it didnt and i am unaware of what manufacture to use to reinstall it so im stuck and dont know what to do

Go to Device Manager, Right click on the unknown device, properties, details, hardware ID

No there's not and no link it didn't come with on it came in the box with my PC

This complicates things.
Open Device Manager,
Find wifi device. It probably will be listed in other devices section with yellow exclamation mark.
Click on Properties/Details
Find section Hardware IDs and show screenshot.

That device should be compatible out of the box. Are you plugging into a front panel USB port or one in the back of the case?

Delete wlan device.
Then click on "Scan for Hardware changes".

I wonder if the USB adapter is simply defective. Those devices get quite hot and are prone to failure. Info on the device suggests Windows should have no issues loading drivers.

well thats possible i mean i use it but the device is fairly new i think ive had this pc for a month now but it makes since i could c that happening but im saying i deleted something lastnight that had to do with the wifi to

Do you have access to another PC/laptop? If so, try it there to see what happens.

When the adapter is plugged in, does there appear to be a USB drive listed in My Computer/This PC?
