from dell? lol, i never really had a problems with dell, except a failed xeon motherboard from running too much things at once, which was video encoding with a professional encoder, adobe premiere opening to frame serve, editing out parts still, aim open with more then like 5 chat screens open, internet explorer open, warcraft 3 running while i was doing this, also, let's not forget constant defragging because of adobe premiere video file handling. also anti virus running. yes, you can do that much with dual xeons without lag. you can alter screens without lag too, it can handle it. that's what it's made for. no competition from single cpu offerings, even if it has multiple cores. so basically i fried my mobo cause these were netburst xeons, plus it's humid and hot in hawaii, so that had a lot to with it anyways, back to the dell situation, the customer service was excellent and repair was as easy as cake, it had a rackmount mobo on the case making it easy to trade out and ship back, other then that, i never really had a problem with dell. now if you said HP, then yeah, i would believe you on that one, hp is shitty. also, god knows what i forgot to add in what i was running back in the day.
also, how many things do you need to upgrade if graphics is most important for gaming and such? why not just buy from newegg? logical explanation, that's what i do. i would never buy parts from dell, it's so expensive. they probably make a killing from that. i always buy from newegg for extra parts.
also, i know it's irellevant, cause it was netbursts fault for the fried mobo basically but dell having problems? my parents had there dell computer i bought for them for years. and it's still going. also, i never heard of a company having limited info on parts? can you better explain because from what i see, they offer enough parts that are necessary to get by.
