-Help!- Q6600 temperature?

Hey, I just installed my Q6600, and it is idling at 50 degrees Celsius. I'm pretty sure it's not normal because whenever I boot up a game it jumps to near 75-80ish and my Intel Desktop Utility freaks out and tells me to stop.

Any ideas?

Clean thermal paste off cpu and heatsink, put a small amount on and reseat heatsink.
