HELP! R9 290x behaving very strange

I recently just bought an asus rog r9 290x matrix platinum,i opened it up and apply an artic mx 4 thermal paste.Assemble the card back.Then everything works fine.Csgo max settings at around 200+ fps but when i started to play graphic intense games like gta v or H1Z1,After a few minuites,it started to have like tiny particles poping randomly and then turns black screen and my monitor says no signal while the graphic card and the system is still on.

This is what i did.Overvolt it using asus gpu tweak dont help.Connecting it using 2 seperate 8 pin cable also dont help.

This is my setup:

I7 4790k
Asrock z97 extreme 6
8gb ram
Asus R9290x P matrix
1×Ssd 2× Hdd
1×blu ray drive 1× dvd drive
Corsair AX 860i 80+ platinum
Custom water loop.

Help please?Reading all the post on the net nothing fixes this.any kind souls able to help me out would be greatly appriciated

Artifacts at stock means the card is defective. It would have been wise to test the card before you applied thermal paste. They won't replace the card if they find 3rd party thermal paste.
