Help reading Memtest86+ message

Hello

I suspect that I have faulty memory so I ran memtest86+ this morning. I came back an hour later and it had a message. Does it say that my ram has problems?

*Note the information came as a horizontal chart, but I'm stating it vertically here.

Other significant information

Gigabyte Easy Tuner Central detected memory voltage at 2.1V which is correct.

my Gigabyte motherboard (Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L rev 2.0) was connected to a faulty Antec SP 450 power supply before I replaced it with a Tegan BZ 700.

Before I had my current OCZ ram (OCZ2N1066SR2GK). I had pair of Corsair 2GB 800 which went faulty after a month.

My current ram OCZ ram (OCZ2N1066SR2GK) started acting up around the same time the previous ram started acting up.

At least one module is defective, but that's to be expected when overclocking and overvolting, unless you provide better cooling to your RAM.

Try running your RAM at 800 Mhz and 1.8V. Your modules should last for years instead of months.

Hi ghislaing thanks for your response

Although, I am running all my components at stock settings. So nothing has been overclocked or overvolted. As stated, 2.1 volts is the normal voltage for my OCZ2N1066SR2GK ram. Then by looking at the model number 1066Mhz is also the default speed.

Also I have a Corsair Airflow Fan attached to the ram. As well as an Aerocool Easywatch monitoring my ram temperatures.

EPP is not a standard like JEDEC - 2.1V is required to overclocked 800 Mhz memory to 1066 Mhz. The RAM is designed to work at 1.8V and 800 Mhz, so anything above that is overclocking. Since it's on warranty, just RMA it and get new RAM.

The note "**Do not exceed 2.1V specification if listed on the module label" implies that they already overvolt them to their maximum.
