So I have a virus called "SaveRAddon" also RightCoupon. I've tried everything I know to get rid of it other than wiping, which I would not like to do but I will if I have too. Any tips to get rid of this would be greatly appreciated! I have AVG, and McCafe, neither of them got rid of the virus :/

Honestly whenever I find that i have a virus. I back up everything and reformat/reinstall everything. I'm like that cause I want to make sure that it is 100% gone.

Even with these steps there is no guarantee it will be completely gone or that you don't have something else.

Thanks for the quick reply man! I'm going to see if any one else has another solution. If not its wiping time xD

I've tried everythingon that link before, just trying it again to be safe

Uninstall it first then use something like adwcleaner. Run it click on scan wait then click on clean wait, then reboot

And you've got 2 of the worst programs AVG and Mcafee. If I were you I would uninstall those too.

And not a good idea, having 2 installed, they'll conflict with each other

And AVG can also disable your audio

Didn't work, think I'm just going to wipe my PC

Man its been forever since I wiped my PC, can you send me a tutorial to how to do it?

Make sure you back up all the stuff you want backed up!! Then after the installation of your OS and virus scan.. Scan the back up you made on the disk you put it on to be sure you aren't loading back any viruses!

WIth respect, most do not know the difference between Virus/Adware/Malware.. They do know Virus. It is easier to call it a Virus which is equated to "bad thing inside" For the purposes of getting his issue resolved and considering he called it a virus himself, I found it easier to just go with that flow. Now that it is resolved you are more than welcome to correct the record but no need to get snippy :)

Alright, PC rebooted and all. the adware is gone. And for the record, I know the difference and but I went with the assumption that most do not. So I called it a virus, have a good day all and thank you for your help!

Idk if you're still here or not but now that I have reset my PC, everything is huge. I have fixed display to 1920 by 1080, and updated my video drivers. But its still huge. Solution?

Have you downloaded all the newest drivers for your GPU and such? If things are as huge as you say, I dont know if your monitor is keeping the 1920x1080p settings. Windows does have a setting that can increase the size of icons but it is not by default, you have to set that. If you right click on the desktop and go to screen resolution.. what is the resolution set at?
