Hello all,
I recently purchased and installed an asus m5a99fx motherboard along with an fx 9370 processor and a corsair h60 to keep it all cool. Upon booting, windows will try to start and fail. I already flashed the BIOS to the newest version, no dice. I'd like to know if there is a way to fix this without reinstalling windows as I don't have the install disk. After checking over the list about what to do in case of boot failure, I don't see anything that I changed before the old cpu (which worked) was removed.
As a side note, the h60 seems to be having some issues, even after applying new arctic ceramique to the coldplate it still ramps up to insane speeds, making me worry about temperatures up to 56 celsius without even starting windows. I don't have a lot of disposable income so any advice about a fix would be much appreciated.
Info:
Motherboard: Asus m5a99fx pro 2.0
Cpu: AMD fx 9370
GPU: radeon HD 7790
Psu: corsair cx850m
