Hi everyone!

Please help me! I'm bought a second hand Asus Strix RX470 4G. After I installed it to my system, I got a code 43 error, and I can't set my screen resolution higher than 1280x1024 (I have a 1440p display).

I tried the followings:
  • Uninstall display drivers with DDU and reninstall it. - NOT WORKED
  • Completely reinstall my Windows 10 - NOT WORKED
  • Applied Ati Pixel Clock patcher (atikmdag) - WORKED (at least I think it works)
I think that the card has a modified vBIOS. Can I revert it back to the factory BIOS? If I can how? Please help!

I collected all of the info I have:

My specs:
  • Gigabyte 970A-UD3P (rev 1.0) mobo
  • AMD FX-6350 @4.1Ghz
  • 2x4Gb Kingston HyperX Fury RAM
  • ASUS Strix RX470 4G
  • FSP Hyper-K 700W
Sorry for my bad English! I hope you can help me solve this problem.

Thanks!

Then it's broken.

But with atikmdag patcher it works fine. It can run games on high settings. So I don't know what's the problem. I will try your solution again afternoon, but I'm not at my rig at the moment. It's possible I downloaded the OC version's BIOS update last time, and that's why the installer doesn't work.
