Help! SHopping for external HD

Does anyone know what's the most reliable out there external hard drive, I need to archive very important data and don't want to get a hard drive that gives up in a month or so. Is this a good brand and hard drive?

Why specifically you want external? To move around.. What about a mobile rack?

You looking for firewire or usb 2.0? what type and speed and size?
