hi, is there a keyboard shortcut for saving pictures from the net?

(Instead of right-clicking and pressing Save Picture As...)

thanx

No.

Live with it, it is less than 5 mouse clicks to save a file.

If there is loads you need, save the webpage to your havedrive and find the files manually.

______________
Read the friggin FAQ, and use the search button or I'll kick yer face in!

If you hover over a picture a little thing should pop up in the upper left hand corner of it. You can then click the little disk to save the pic from there. That reduces it by one click, lol.

And then, of course, there's the good old [PrtScrn] key. Naturally, you'd have to fire up your favorite picture editor and then crop the image. This is okay if the picture you need to download is being shown at its actual size on the webpage (sometimes an image is scaled to a smaller size to fit it into the browser/page).

Now, this is not necessarily the fast way to do it, but it's just an option I wanted to throw at ya. With Photoshop, you can also increase the image's dimensions, and more.

Got Photoshop?

You could press Alt-F, S, then Alt-S in IE
or Ctrl-S, Alt-S in Mozilla which will save the webpage along with folder containing all the picutres with zero mouse clicks.
