The behaviour: https://imgur.com/a/o4HQ5

Occurrence: After a start or a wakeup. It goes like this after multiple reboots, when eventually it stops blinking after 10-30 mins of struggle.
The blinking starts with the PC boot (long before the Windows is loaded)
The blinking frequency is often faster than the one in the video.
More often there is no blinking during the "Loading Windows..." screen.

Troubleshooting: It is the monitor (LG IPS277L) for sure - the same behaviour is observed when plugged to another pc/laptop.

Tries that didn't help:
- different cable
- different port
- turning off the power saving mode

I hope the issue to be a software one, but I have no idea what it might be.
If it were a hardware one then it wouldn't make sense after multiple reboots suddenly blinking to stop, right?

Solution
I have exactly identical problem with this monitor (LG IPS277L-BN) which you described here, every single the same behaviour.. I had ~1 month, because now it's no possible to even power on the monitor. It looks completely dead, the power touch button has not even reacted. Replacing the power cable did not solve the problem, the monitor still can not turn on now.

Everything what you wrote in the last post (18 September 2017) I observed just few days ago in my case, but from yesterday I can not even power on this monitor with power touch button.
Ordered a new cable to try ...

UPDATE: Now the blinking is more severe upon startup: the monitor barely turns on - blink on for a fraction of a second and then it stays off for few seconds. The whole monitor turns off during that blinking - the LED indicating that the monitor is ON goes OFF and ON during the blinking.

However, if I unplug the HDMI cable, the monitor stops blinking and remains permanently ON. So I think it can't be the power cable.
But also it can't be the HDMI cable + computer since I tried with another laptop+DVI cable and the blinking persisted.

And every time after I start the pc and struggle for 15-20 minutes, the blinking suddenly stops.

Is it possible an IPS monitor to need time to warm up? (this sounds like a joke)

Solution
Hi again,
I just repaired my monitor. I bought a new motherboard for this monitor and replaced it with that defective one.
I spent only $ 20 on it.. I can give you a link for the offer in pm if you want. it will solve your problems as mine in 100%.
