You see, I have two profiles in Windows 7 Starter (Administrator and Guest). I have performed the process which involved the regedit, so I deleted the .bak extension from one SID and renamed the another SID with .bak (I followed ALL steps here http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947215)

After performing the process, I first tried to access the Guest profile and it worked perfectly fine. But, as soon as I typed my password to access my Administrator account, the "The User Profile Service failed the logon" message still appeared. What should I do to fix this? Please help

You can try using a system restore but that is about it. You would need to have another admin account on the system sometimes you can do this by using the one that is sometimes set by default in pre-built systems like dell and HP by booting into safe mode and using the account created, by default this account has no password. But anything else I think goes into the gray area, so you may not be able to receive help since your question is semi password/unlocking an account related.
