Help to decide cpu

I am building budget gaming pc and
need help to decide cpu for my rig. i made two combinations both roughly cost me same and need help to choose. My gpu is GTX 760
1. I5 3470 @ 3.2ghz with stock cooler and gigabyte ga-b75-d3h
2. Fx 6300 with asus A5M97 R2.0 and CM Hyper 212 evo

I won't be doing crossfire or SLI ever and pc is only for gaming,no video editing rendering etc also if i choose fx 6300 how much overclock can i expect on that mobo as i read that it has poor VRMs.

Option 1 would be my choice.
Option 2 seen many OC to 4GHz here and the VRM's are better than most other 970 boards, at least it has 4+2 power phasing.
