HELP! Unigine Valley and Heaven error

I tried reinstalling, doesn't help.

Are you by any chance trying to run at DX11 with a card that isn't DX11?
If that isn't it, try running CCleaner to clean up registry errors and software conflicts, and try again.

Using a gtx 970 w/ latest drivers. I have already used ccleaner.

Try uninstalling Heaven and Valley, running both CCleaner and Auslogics Registry Cleaner, re-booting, and download a fresh copy and reinstall.

All I can make out from the error msg. is a trail of what the the program was doing when it halted. You could try disabling any extra stuff you have running with Windows, and try again. Do you have a bunch of apps in your tray?

I'll be doing a reinstall of windows 8.1 now, hope it works after that.

30! Yikes. I'd get rid of as many as possible. You can start them manually. I have 6.
