Hello dear readers,
First of all, let me tell you my rig

Motherboard: Asus F2A55
PSU:Corsair 750W M
APU: AMD A8 5600K with CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 EVO
Video Card : Geforce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5
Ram: 2x Samsung 4GB 1600Mhz
22 inch AOC monitor
1TB WD Blue
+some aditional fans on a CoolerMaster K350 case

My question is pretty simple. What kind of video card can I put as a slight upgrade and for a reasonable price? And is it even worth selling this video card? It is less than 6 months old.

Solution
Neither the CPU or GPU is high end. But at some point your CPU won't be able to drive a faster video card. Considering how much you'll have to spend to get something faster then your 650 I get the feeling you'll be disappointed. Getting something with more Vram might help. But I'm honestly not sure. If you know of someone with a faster video card who is willing to put it in your system so you can see the difference then go for it. But I'm sure you'd have to spend more then $150 USD to get an upgrade, and I'm not sure how well that would work with your A8.
