Rig:

i7 930 (1366 LGA) @ 2.8 Ghz [not OC'd]
Asus P6t SE Mobo (x58 chipset)
3x2GB DD3 1333Ghz RAM (3x2gb Kingston Value Ram - KVR1333D3N9/2G)
Asus GTX 760
Corsair HX750 Professional Series Power Supply

At first I wanted to buy just one additional stick of 2gb ram (KVR1333D3N9/2G) to get my total up from 6GB to 8GB, but I found that an additional stick of the ram I have would cost me about $60 which is a bit steep for just an additional 2gb of ram.

Decided I wanted to get a new RAM kit that totals 8gb, looked at QVL (i want to limit possibilities of problems and incompatibility) for my P6T SE Mobo, but all kits listed only total to 6GB or 12GB for 1333ghz RAM. I already have 6gb and 12gb kits are a bit too pricey.

I want to stick to 1333ghz RAM as my mobo manual says RAM that requires more than 1.5volts is too much and will fry my board.

Can anyone help me find a kit that totals 8gb in 1333ghz RAM that runs at 1.5volts and will work on my mobo? I guess if I have to buy individual sticks (not in a kit) I can do that too, but i'm trying to avoid it. I'm looking to spend between $60 and $90.

Thanks!

The problem is that thats corsair though which isnt on the QVL for my mobo at 1333ghz and I'm weary of getting 1600mhz ram as manual says to stick to 1.5volts or ill have problems....

I really want: http://www.amazon.com/G-skill-Ripjaws-240-pin-Desktop-F3-10666cl7t-12gbrh/dp/B004KP9ZF2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418242795&sr=8-1&keywords=F3-10666CL7T-12GBRH#customerReviews but its $150 🙁

I'll use it for newer games (upcoming titles like GTA5, The division, etc) as well as current stuff, netflix, movies, music, etc. Just on a tight budget after just having purchasing a new power supply and GPU.

I saw those two new links you posted in my own research and considered that as well, guess I'll go with corsair as they supposedly produce good quality RAMs.

Thanks for all the input!

Went with the Corsair Vengence 2x4gb. Looks like windows is recognizing all 8gb (Yay!) but CPU-z is showing the ram running at 535 ghz so x2 I guess its running at about 1066, it appears the ram its capable of 1600, but I'll just go into BIOS and up it so its running at 1333ghz, figure that won't raise the voltage higher than 1.5v. Everything works, just doesnt feel much faster yet.

If I clear CMOS, do I have to reset anything manually or will BIOS auto everything?

Guess I'll have to deal with it another day, I don't know nearly enough about which settings to turn on/modify after clearing CMOS 🙁 Stuck with 1066 for now, gotta do some learning first....
