Help:Upload speed is 3x more than Download speed

Hi guys,

I think I m having the problem with my usb wireless device or some configuration is wrong in my pc ( win 7). Another laptop I have can get around 60 mbps download speed and upload speed is also around 60 mpbs.

But speedtest from my computer using ( Aztec wl568USB) wireless device shows around 30 mbps download speed and 90 mbps upload speed.

Router is capable of N type and I can get around 140 mbps from router.

I play online games like CS:GO, Dota2, etc.

I don't know how to solve about my upload speed is alot more than download speed. Please help me solve the problem since I can't find solution anywhere.

What happens if you take that adapter and try it on another PC? Same results? You should do that to isolate if it's the adapter or the PC causing the issue.

Hi, I get the similar result when I use the adapter on another computer. So is it the adapter issue? or

Looks like the adapter. Maybe something weird in the default driver settings? Tried any other driver versions?

Tested with auto-detect the driver from window and also tested with latest driver from aztec. Got the same results also.

I've checked a few other reviews of the same adapter and I can't find anyone experiencing the same problem you are.

The next suggestion I have to isolate the issue would be to try the adapter (using any machine) on another network. That would help you eliminate the possibility that it's a compatibility issue with your router.

Try doing another speed test on a computer connected to your router via ethernet, then do the speed test again with all the other computers off the network, this will tell you if it's the router or other computers messing with it - which would only leave the connection between the router and the ISP and adapter(s) to the router.
