Asrock Z77 Extreme6 Motherboard
Gigabyte HD7970 GHz Edition GPU
8 Gb Corsair Dominator GT RAM
240 Gb Sandisk SSD
Corsair Obsidian 350D Case with Window
Cosair CX750 PSU
Asus VS247 Monitor
Windows 7 Pro

The price being asked is 1200 Aud (negotiable). The prices of parts in Aus are obviously a lot higher so take that into account. anything wrong with this build? I know it doesn't have a HDD but I can use an external. The owner just put in the GPU and MOBO less than a month ago and the system itself is no older than 6 months. He did mention that the reason that it has a new mobo is due to the old one Breaking/not working. This does make me nervous that he has built this set up incorrectly or something is happening with the components to cause this. opinions please!

update: the Case is actually a 650D, I am going to purchase this system :)

So you believe that he's trying to rip people off?

He may have just made a mistake or he may be being dishonest , but either way its an impossible build .

If it is a $350 discount on new parts [ I didnt check] its also overpriced for a second hand computer IMO .

EDIT : if this is an online auction I would walk away

It's actually a Local pickup sale on Gumtree. I will call him tomorrow and ask about it. if I was to buy it, I would want it set up at his house with proof of the parts aha (assuming he made a mistake) I will be vary wary of this now. Thanks

Thanks for that! I know see that it's possible that he mucked up when listing the mobo. over the phone, he didn't seem to know much about computers so it's a possibility. aha $850-$1000 AUD off (he did say negotioable) would be awesome! Thanks once again
