Hi all,

I just put together a tower, clean windows 7 pro install, all was fine until I was trying to fix a problem with USB 3.0 (Windows can't detect it or something). Was trying to reinstall the driver from the mobo disc, but another software's installation caused the machine to reboot before that was done, and now I can't use both keyboard and mouse. They are on regular USB (not 3.0) but aren't working. Can use them on BIOS, but cannot use them even safe mode.

What should I do?? With no input available I can't even get TeamViewer install (so I can use my laptop to remote control it to reinstall the driver). If I get a PS/2 keyboard, will it work??

Thanks!!!!

It's your usb driver for your motherboard it's messed up. The last resort is to reset windows. A lot simpler on win 10 as you keep your license but you decided to go with an older operating system that isn't compatible with the newest processors.

Yah, probably what I have to do. Can't use win 10 Because I have to install a workplace software (so I can do paperwork at home) which won't support win 10. I know, it sucks.
