Hey, uhm, I have a little problem. So, I made a new computer for the first time, and had it lying around for a good 20 days or so (Had to wait for ALL my parts to come in, ran into a load of problems, which required buying even more parts, and had to wait for those to ship in too.) Now I'm running into another little pandemic. My mice are twitchin' and freaking out. I've tried using 3 different mice, all of which "twitch". As we speak, my cursor is dancing in the middle of my text box.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
- I've tried using different inputs, ( My mice are usb btw.)
- Tried looking for drivers. ( Not sure I did it right, but meh.)

So please help, if you can. I'll provide any info you might need. Also, the mouse I am currently using is a Razer Deathadder, which was given to me by my cousin ( Love you cuz!)

Solution

I've heard that some Razer products do twitch for some reason. One solution I've heard is sticking something to the bottom of the mouse to lift it up a little bit. It would still allow for the sensor to move the mouse too.

I'm just trying to help you out the best I can because I feel bad that you had to purchase more parts to fix other problems.

I've researched that a bit, and apparently sticking tape to the mouse's sensor area helps, so far so good. Crossin' my fingers that it doesn't freak out again! And, thanks, these problems are a real pain. And will most likely discourage me from building any more computers for this, and after my lifetime 😛.

Great, I wish you the best of luck. They truly are.

I can understand where you're coming from, but I wouldn't go that far. Look at the positives; there is a great difference in performance from building a computer than buying one pre-built. Problems happen with everything, some may be bigger, yes. However, you just have to push through them.
