Just got a trv19 for my kids to use and on our trip to disneyworld the
vids (all bright sunny days) where so bright, that although the
subject looked ok, everything else was so bright it was washed white.
The backlight is not on. I only other thing i found was changing the
shutter to auto and it was 'somewhat better'. Is there something else?
Thanks,
Jack

If you were not in manual exposure mode, it sounds like
it is defective...

I've had a TRV-19 for a year. Never had brightness trouble. Possibly
defective... Maybe nightshot is on?
