You got a solid build. I have a MSI GTX 970. I highly reccomend that GPU.

Though I would say get a cheaper hard drive. You don't need a Black if you are only using it for storage. I love my Barracudas.

This is what I'd do on similar budget:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S 55.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($62.99 @ Mwave)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($126.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($82.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($128.99 @ Amazon)

Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF120 Red 52.2 CFM 120mm Fan ($12.99 @ NCIX US)
Other: LED Kit
Total: $1269.88

FANS: Sickeflow sucks. Don't get it. Useless. Upgrade that.
CPU cooler: Noctua provide the quietest and best performing ones out there.
PSU: best build and quality.
RAM: Just as fast but cheaper.
Otherwise, great choices.

Solution

Make sure you get a "K" cpu. If not then you don't need to buy the Phanteks cooler. It's only for overclocking, but non K cpus can't.
Get a Blue HDD, not Red. Faster. Look at rpms. Also, upgrade to a 180-256gb SSD.
That case is not good for this build. It is really cheap and will have horrible airflow and cable mgmt.
PSU. That is a low quality and dangerous PSU. Don't buy it.
Fans. You need good cooling. SickeFlow don't work well at cooling. It is just a LED "fan".
