Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my PC. Here are my current specs:

Mobo: Asus M4A89TD Pro/USB3 (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A89TD_PROUSB3/)
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727)
GPU: EVGA GTX 570 (http://www.evga.com/articles/00596/)
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018)
RAM: 16GB DDR3

Around Christmas I will be getting a new GTX 970 so I am looking to upgrade my PC to get the full potential out of my new GPU.

Approximate Purchase Date: Now-Christmas 2015

Budget Range: $500-$600 for all parts needed.

System Usage: Gaming most importantly, don't do much else besides internet surfing and other basics.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Whatever needs to be upgraded. CPU and mobo definitely. PSU if needed. RAM if needed. Will need an aftermarket CPU cooler so any suggestions for that would be appreciated. I want to get the best parts to pair with the GTX 970 I will be receiving.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Preferably newegg.com to take advantage of financing.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Phoenix, AZ, USA

Parts Preferences: Preferably Intel CPU, other than that no preference.

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080p.

Additional Comments: Want to upgrade my PC to get the full potential out of a new GTX 970. Note: The GPU is already taken care of, it does not need to be included in my budget.

Why I'm Upgrading: I have trouble running a lot of newer games. Even on low settings I will suffer low FPS (30-45 typically). My hardware is outdated and I want to be able to enjoy games at maximum performance.

CPU: 8320/8350

Mobo: Something like MSI 970 GAMING

RAM: I'm not sure what speed your current set is, so may not even need an update.

If you have about $100 budget remaining, you can pick up a 240gb Samsung EVO SSD
