ok thats an ok build but id suggest going for an AMD ryzen build instead, you could get way more for your money. you can pick up a ryzen 2600x for about the same price and a b350 motherboard for only $55, youll get more performance for a little less. id invest a little more into a better cooler aswell, even push it to an aio liquid cooler if you can, anything from arctic, cooler master or thermaltake

Next upgrades I'd suggest would be a 1TB HDD for storage, then more RAM.

You will have to reinstall Windows on the new build no matter what, so you are best off installing Windows onto the SSD and going from there.

It won't turn on without a PSU. Also the 2600X cooler is just as good as that 212.

I would say that PSU is a poor choice, for this build. I would also look to a Ryzen 2600 build, to free up some money elsewhere. Taking your full budget of $800.

Don't really need the cooler. Also with the R5 2600, you can get more ram, and a better SSD. Even if you want a cooler, there are better options, for the money, than a CM 212.

You aren't going to get any decent overclocks for two reasons:
1. The crappy motherboard.
2. The under-powered power supply.

Stick with locked components:

While it isn't required right now, I recommend 16GB minimum for any gaming rig. There are a lot of games that already recommend 8GB+ so you might as well be ahead of the curve and start with 16.

I wouldn't call the RAM deals "exceptional" right now. Compared to how expensive RAM was all of 10 months ago they look good, but compared to 2016 the prices are still minimum 50% higher now than they were then.

8GB is bare minimum now. Some games, a handful, are requiring 16GB minimum. It may be in the lifetime of your next build that 16GB is the bare minimum... You can always upgrade your memory later if need be when your budget doesn't support going 16GB today.
