Help with artifacts on screen

Hello, This is my first time posting and I'm not sure where to ask. I recently bought a new Motherboard, ram and CPU. When I'm on the desktop, I keep seeing random artifacts, sometimes bottom half of my screen, others on the right hand side, it looks like a window opens then closes instantly, so fast I cant quite see it. I tried running Prime 95, and Furmark, as well as some games and it doesn't seem to trigger anything, but sometimes playing games it seems like it pops up over the game for a split second. I'm kinda freaking out because I don;t know if this is a software problem, or something wrong with one of my components. I am using the latest Nvidia driver as well. Thank you so much for any help :) and sorry again if I posted in the wrong place 🙁.

Specs :
CPU - Core i7 6700K
MOBO - ASUS Z170-A
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1070 Founders Edition
Ram - Kingston Fury HyperX 8GB
PSU - EVGA 650G
OS - Windows 10 64bit

It is, I purchased it a couple months ago. Im hoping it's not 🙁 I always get paranoid about these things with new builds. I know it sounds weird, but I can't remember if it did this on my old motherboard. I was using an i5 2500K, but the old motherboard had a lot of problems, freezing, black screen on boot-up. So far no black screen on boot up, but now I am having this issue >.<.

Oops sorry about that, its the EVGA supernova nex650g im assuming the g is just the gold power rating in the name. Im sitting in the bios gui right now and so far no artifacts.

NEX is terrible quality.

A good PSU for your machine would be the Corsair RM650x. However, we can't be sure that replacing the power supply will entirely solve the problem. It is possible that your old power supply could have damaged your graphics card. If that happens to be the case here, then replacing the power supply will not stop the machine's annoying behavior. If that happens to be the case, just warranty your graphics card. There's really no reason to be scared, as long as it's under warranty, the manufacturer will take care of it.

I happened to see you bought a new motherboard, ram, and a cpu as a system upgrade.
So I have no doubt the new parts now reside in the same system case as the old motherboard, cpu, and ram setup you had.

And all this happened right after you changed over to the new parts listed.
I always worry when someone makes a post like this because 9 times out of ten the reason why if you look closely at a post in most cases like yours.

Some people forget that if you install a new motherboard cpu and ram you are required to do a clean fresh install of the windows os in such a situation.

Or 9 times out of ten it`s forgotten about that you need to do it.
So did you ?
Or did you just use the old hard disk or ssd drive with the pre existing install of windows os on it ?
That is a no no and explains why you have the horrid mess at the bottom of the display screen.

It turns out after I switched motherboards and reinstalled my video card, I think it was not fully seated on the back side because where the 2 screws hold the video card in place on my case (Thermal Take Core P5) was too high and made the card sit an an angle, so when I screwed it in the back side, the video card pci-e was not fully in place XD. Enough to work, but gave artifacts maybe? Stupid on my part. But I really appreciate the quick help and feedback :) But now that I made sure it was level and full inplace, no artifacts :)
