Help with Booting XP

Hello,
I cannot boot XP from either the hard drive nor a boot which I downloaded from the internet. All I can do is get into the setup and both the CD and the hard drive are disabled. How do I undisable them?

in your bios, set your primary secondary and etc to automatic and it will automatically be detected

Go to boot menu of the computer and change the priority of boot. Set it to CD/DVD ROM.
