I need help please. I have a budget of around $3,000 and I want to buy the best gaming computer (+ monitor) I can for the price. The configuration below has a budget of $4,700. I need help getting it to around $3000. I know it will be cheaper building a computer myself but I prefer to buy (I am 47 years old and have gamed my entire life – all with computers I bought not built). Please keep in mind that Iam the type of person that does not upgrade. When my computer is not working to my liking I will buy another one (and give the old one to my son). Thanks for your help; I am looking forward to the replies/suggestions.

No idea how configurable they are but the obvious things...

1) no need whatsoever for more than 16 GB memory for a gaming rig

2) no need for a PSU over 550w for that build

3)no reason for a 500gb m2 SSD, a 250gb SATA SSD both

4) do you need a 3tb Platter drive?

Thanks for your reply. How much ram do I need for a gaming rig (remember I wont be upgrading)? How much of a power supply do I need? and, what do you suggest regarding SSD as I never had one before

If you don't plan on upgrade and buy a new PC every-time the PC starts to perform weak then go for 1080p it will atleast last you for 5-7Years without the requirement of upgrade. The resolution you opted is crazy and the PC will be unable to keep up with it for even 2-3Yrs.

Going for 6Core Skylake-X is meaningless. Either go for 10Core i9-7900X or stick with i7-7700K.
