I recently built a PC with:
MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO
GPU: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 780TI
PSU: COOLER MASTER V1000 80+ GOLD
CASE: NZXT PHANTOM 820 MATTE BLACK
CPU: INTEL CORE I7 4790K 4.0GHz
CPU: COOLER: CORSAIR H110 HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID COOLER
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE PRO 2400MHz (2x8)
SSD: SAMSUNG 840 EVO 1TB
HD: SEAGATE 4TB 7200RPM

It is my 2nd time building a PC I first built a mini (or micro) ATX build for a friend but I'm experiencing a bit of trouble. What I did with the cooler was that I took out the top fan on the NZXT PHANTOM 820 and placed the radiator under it and the fans under since it was too small, the fans I placed over the radiator and still under where the original case fan was as intake, and since it is my first time installing a liquid cooler and since I ran through a bit of trouble with the case and the radiator too I wanted to ask if there is a better way of doing it. Also when ever I click the powerbutton on the case It usually (not always) takes 2-3 tries to get it working and it's initially very loud (I'm also using a pretty old CD drive with a CD in it atm) and It keeps booting me out of a game and tells me to change it to windows basic since it's affecting performance while this never happened in my old build which was slower also keeps telling me that there is high CPU usage which also never happened on my old system. Also I must note that I'm using a pirated copy since they gave it to me on a USB for free when I got my first PC (same HDD and SSD) so if that could be affecting it which it didn't on my old PC.

Yes - get an authentic copy of Windows and install it.

As long as you have the two fans on the radiator, you should be fine. Can the radiator be mounted at the front? If so, then you can run cooler intake air over the radiator. You should try to blow air into the case from the front, bottom and sides and out through the rear and top.

Check your connections on the motherboard for the power button. Make sure its on the correct motherboard header pins and that its fully pushed on.

I'm most likely going to get windows 8 in a week so I'll tell you anything when I do. I already have two noctua fans at the front of the case doing well and I added an extra NZXT fan by the hard drive cages I believe as intake ( I'm at work atm so I'll edit this if I'm wrong ) but do you think I might have installed the cooler wrong since I didn't switch out the thermal paste so I couldn't have put too much, IDK but also I haven't experienced any problems with the PC turning off when I turn it on twice on my old PC using the same hard drive and SSD and will I need to do a fresh install since I have quite the slow internet and also I would like to keep everything on it including the customized desktop xD, I know that if I upgrade to WIN 8 then from there I get the free WIN 8.1 upgrade I basically get to keep everything without having to re-install anything else.

I'll get windows 8 in most likely a week but if you don't mind me asking ( Sorry I'm pretty much a novice ) will I have to do a clean install or is it possible to keep everything else including desktop options registry edit options etc... by upgrading to win 8 then to win 8.1?

Thanks.

Okay, but is that what's causing the problems when I turn on the PC? I haven't experienced it before or does it have something to do with the bios drivers?
