Hello everybody, I want to buy a gaming pc that would last for a few years without upgrades. I'd basically play only Warzone on my Dell 27" 1440p 144hz monitor

MOBO:
GIGABYTE B650 GAMING X (8+2+1 Phases Digital VRM Solution)
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Cooler:
DeepCool ASSASSIN IV (very sceptic about liquid cooling, absolutely not a fan (pun intended))
RAM:
Corsair Vengeance DIMM 32 GB DDR5-6000 (30-36-36-76)
GPU:
RTX 4080 Super (not sure which one, it comes out in a week)
SSD:
SAMSUNG 990 PRO 1TB (without a heatsink since the MOBO comes with one)
Case:
Fractal Design Pop XL Silent Black Solid, Big-Tower
Additional 3x DeepCool TF 120S 120x120x25
PSU:
be quiet! Pure Power 12M 850W

I could do some modifications to the components. Please give me some advice on what I should up or downgrade if needed and why. Thank you

Some questions:
I am not sure about the MOBO due to a few reasons. Compared to B650e and X670e, it has only pcie 4.0 pcie lanes. There are B650 version mobos with at least pcie 5.0 m.2 but with rather bad temps (as seen at 12:25

). My first choice was MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI, and my second a ASRock B650E PG RIPTIDE WIFI so I have at least the option to upgrade my SSD to a Crucial T700 Heatsink 1 TB. I can't imagine myself having the need to upgrade anything else for the coming years
The second thing on my mind would be the GPU, I am deciding between the new 4070ti Super that is coming out tomorrow, the 4080 Super and a 4090. For now it would be overkill to get the last one, but it will maybe make sense in two years
For the RAM, I think 32gb is enough. Right now I am rocking 16gb ddr4 at 2666 without any issues, but my 1080ti and i7 9700k are just not doing it for me anymore, the time has come to upgrade.

This is what it would cost me to upgrade the components from the list:

+130chf MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI
+45chf ASRock B650E PG RIPTIDE WIFI
+70chf Crucial T700 Heatsink 1 TB
(since the super versions didnt come out yet)
- ~300chf RTX 4070ti Super
+ ~500chf RTX 4090 (additional +30chf for jumping from 850w to 1000w psu)

I would choose a 7900xtx, over a 4080s, for Warzone.

1tb 990 pro is overpriced. Get something like this instead.

Wow! Never thought of buying an AMD, absolutely no one is talking about it, everyone around me is just deciding between 4070/4080/4090. Thanks for the advice, I did some research and I will definitely go for the 7900xtx. As for the ssd, I think I will stick to the 990 Pro due to the fact that it has the best random read speeds (I don't think it will improve my gaming experience, but I've seen it increases the fps by 2-3 frames).

But now for the monitor, I have a Dell S2716DG. It is running 144hz on 1440p but only with gsync, with an AMD GPU I would hit 120hz max, which is a waist. Now I need advice for a new monitor, I can't decide which one to go for. At the moment I am eyeing between these:

LCD 27" 160hz 4k
(450chf) AOC AGON U27G3X/BK
(530chf) GIGABYTE M27U

LCD 27" 240hz 1440p
(315chf) SAMSUNG Odyssey G6 G65B
(340chf) PHILIPS Evnia 5000 Series 27M2C5500W

LCD 32" 240hz 4k
(700chf) SAMSUNG Odyssey Neo G8 G85NB

OLED 27" 240hz 1440p
(700chf) AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD
(700chf) LG UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B

The riptide mobo for sure.

cheaper cooler like the thermalright phantom sprit or peerless assassin

maybe a 2tb ssd?

Mid ATX pop version of the case, why do you need the XL version?
Riptide it is! Thanks for the advice
I think I will stick with the Assassin IV cooler, I can get it cheap
For the ssd, I really have just Windows and Warzone installed, maybe few pictures. I will have a last look before I purchase the components if need 2tb. Thank you for the link
And for the case, I don''t know much about them, I thought more room inside = better airflow = cooler work temp

Do you have an advice for me for a monitor, as said, playing only Warzone

Depends on how much you want to spend.

If you are a hardcore FPS gamer, 240hz IPS monitor might be useful for you.

here is a potential build for you to consider:

I play only Warzone, but can't decide what is more important between resolution, fps and technology. The Gigabyte M27Q X is around 150chf more expensive than the alternatives I was looking at. These are the displays I bookmarked:

IPS 27" 160hz 4k
(450chf) AOC AGON U27G3X/BK
(530chf) GIGABYTE M27U

IPS 27" 240hz 1440p
(315chf) SAMSUNG Odyssey G6 G65B
(340chf) PHILIPS Evnia 5000 Series 27M2C5500W

IPS 32" 240hz 4k
(700chf) SAMSUNG Odyssey Neo G8 G85NB

OLED 27" 240hz 1440p
(700chf) AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD
(700chf) LG UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B

The Samsung and the philips are both VA panels, the gigabyte is IPS. Thats why it costs more.
