I'm planning on buying all of my components from Newegg and getting some of my friends to put it together with me. Trying to get it to $1600 (+-$150) So far I have
Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge LGA 1155 Quad-Core -$299.99
~$140 case maybe CoolerMaster Storm Stryker
LOGISYS LNSRD liquid neon thunder pattern light -$8.99
G. Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 (2x8GB) -$69.99
ASUS GTX 680 DC2T-26DF 2GB -$539.99
ASUS P9X79 LE LGA 2011 -$239.99
Corsair TX650W Power Supply -$89.99
ADATA Premier pro SP900 256GB SSD -$184.99
1 TB Seagate Hard Drive -$69.99
ASUS 24x DVD Burner -$19.99
Corsair Hydro Series H60 Liquid Cooling -$54.99
Windows 8 -$99.99
Maybe ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Sound Card for $80.99 but I have the Steelseries Siberia V2 7.1 which has a USB Sound card that is 7.1 apparently but I don't know if it is the same as Having the Xonar.
It comes out to about $1900 with the Xonar.
If there are any cheaper replacements, better upgrades, anything please let me know. IBuyPower was charging aboue $2100+ for a PC very similar to this so if anyone can help I would gladly appreciate it.
