Hi there,

I was searching for a while for buying my new hardware and i came up with this:

G3420 + 260x + 4GB RAM

and i just wanted to know is there any smarter choice for gpu or cpu in same price range? Also if you could reccomend me a low cost motherboard for these.

Thanks in advance

Hello, you can have a GTX 750 ti at the same price. There is about a 5% difference in performance. It depends on which game you play. 750 Ti use less power than the R7 260X. It's a preference on wich brand you prefer. I am a Nvidia fan so.. :)

But this GPU doesnt fit on that motherboard?!

I'm not sure why you say that. Maybe you're not expressing your concern correctly? The motherboard is a PCIe Gen 2.0 and it is compatible with PCIe 3.0 video cards.

The article I linked you to used an insane Nvidia Titan so that they could make sure the CPUs were not bottlenecked by the video card.
