Help with Chrome OS please!

Hello peoples

I need help regarding the Chrome OS platform. I was wondering if anyone is currently running this OS and can verify whether you can get google play store on Chrome OS or not.

Also, whether you can run download apps from google play and actually use it on chrome OS.
For example if i wanted to play angry birds on Chrome OS would I be able to do that through the app store and not a third party program.

I was gonna buy the Chromebit for general PC surfing on the TV and occasionally play app games on it.

There are many games available on the Chrome Store (not sure about Angry Birds, though).
