Hi I'm going to be building a gaming computer and had a few questions about the components.
I currently plan on using an Intel i7 7700k processor, but I do not plan on overclocking it. It's on sale for a good deal and is the same price as the i7 7700 version, so I thought I minds well purchase that one instead.

Beginning with my first problem, I have no idea what cooler to use for the processor. I believe these models don't come with one and since I'm not overclocking it, I shouldn't need an overly good one.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me any suggestions towards this. I wouldn't really want to pay more than $50 CAD ($38 USD)

My second problem is I wanted help with the motherboard. I plan on purchasing a GTX 1060 6gb ver. or a GTX 1070 graphics card. I would also like to purchase a WiFi adapter as I most likely will not have access to Ethernet. I'm also worried that a power supply could possibly conflict with any of these, or does it not matter? I've seen them talk about how they are "intel 4th gen ready".

I picked out this motherboard however I noticed an AMD logo on it, and was worried it wouldn't be compatible, or simply cause problems with a Nvidia graphics card. So is there any other suggestions (if it does cause problems) within that $150 CAD (116 USD) price range? I could go a little bit higher if need be, such as switching to an i5 7600, to buy a better motherboard.

I would like to use DDR4 2400 Ram although switching to 2133 isn't too big of a deal for me as I heard there is a very minimal difference for gaming. Just to show all the parts I've picked out, here's the ram.

I currently plan on buying this case or this one.

I plan on using the computer for gaming at 1080p. Although some people consider the 1070 overkill I would like to try and "future proof" my computer. I will most likely be getting the 1060 anyway.

I'd prefer an Intel build, as I'm more familiar with them. So I have no idea how well that processor would do. I plan on playing MMO games like Black Desert Online and VR games which I believe are rather CPU intensive.

sigh brand loyalty, go ahead and spend that extra money for 5 extra frames.

It isn't brand loyalty....I just don't know how good that processor is compared to Intel. I've just become more familiar with Intel processors, so I understand how well it will perform. Plus the reason I want that processor is because it's currently in store, on sale. If you know any good coolers for it, that would be greatly appreciated.

I looked online and that video did have competitive performance, however I saw other articles still saying Intel was better for gaming. Some said the R5 1600 might have been struggling due to the games not being optimized (So not the processors fault) . Now I would probably agree with your suggestion and get this processor, however the i7 is on sale right now. So if I'm still getting better performance for just a bit extra, I don't mind. It won't affect what graphics card I get.

If the i7 price is that close to the 1600 which is unlikely then sure.
