At my local store website I saw that this motherboard Gigabyte H110M-S2H Intel H110 SK1151 supports Intel Pentium CPU's, but I wasn't aware that I need to update BIOS. Is this something normal to do or by default is already ready and that warning is more like a heads-up?

Yes, you will need to update the bios to run the g4560. The only way to do it is to have a 6th gen Intel CPU. Maybe the board will be shipped with the right bios, but I would not bet on it.

Unfortunately the is not a Pentium with SMT in the 6th gen. You would have to get the i3 6100 for similar performance and it cost around 120.

You will need a board that says H270 or B250 to work without a bios update.

If you can buy it locally, you can ask the shop if they can provide BIOS update for you if needed. Otherwise, get B250 MB just to be safe:

Thank you everyone I learned a lot. Honestly didn't knew about this BIOS stuff, in this case instead of the Pentium probably the best (if wallet allows it) is to going right for an iX or Pentium's are still an option to consider?

Right now I don't have a budget by default, but I'll accept your help and work it from there.

I'm looking for a decent PC, not to high-end or enthusiastic but something for like 5 years more or so. So I was thinking, instead of the G4560 it could be the i3-7100 or i5-7500 I don't plan to record or stream so I think an i7 is more than what I need . There's also the Ryzen CPU's but I'm not very inside into it, in fact I didn't knew the intel G4560 was nearly the same as an i3 so I discover it by an accident while reading this forum :wahoo:
