Help with CPU/Motherboard/RAM ... Stuff?

Hello, I would love a bit of help with finagling my PC into working.

My motherboard is an MSI FM2-A55M-E33
My CPU is an AMD A-Series A6 5400K 3.8GHz Black Edition
RAM: I have 1 stick of PNY 8GB and two sticks of VisionTek 4GB neither of which work on my motherboard.

I've searched for every compatible RAM on MSI's list at Fry's and BestBuy and neither of them have anything compatible. List: http://us.msi.com/product/mb/FM2-A55M-E33.html#/?div=MEMSupport

I was considering getting a new motherboard because I am out of resources for finding compatible RAM. The problem I am getting with that is I can't find a list of motherboards compatible with my CPU. Not even on AMD's website.

This computer is already far more expensive than it should have been because of the RAM compatibility nonsense. Lesson learned, not buying from TigerDirect anymore.

So does anyone know a website or (even better) a walk-in store somewhere in California where I can get compatible ram, or where I can find a compatible motherboard for my processor or at least a list like that? Or does anyone have any advice?

Pretty close to tossing this thing off a cliff.

my motherboard supports all A series APU's .. its a BIOSTAR A55ML2... FM2 processor port.. DDR3 ram.. PCIe 16x vid slot
